Three layers keep wireframes maintainable: shared tokens, page layout, examples.

1. wireframe.css

Colors, type, spacing, buttons, placeholders, chrome. Change once → all pages update. AI should not edit this unless you ask.

2. Page <style>

Layout specific to one wireframe — grids, section spacing. Stays in that file.

3. Kit reference HTML

kit-system.html, kit-components.html, kit-wireframe-deck.html — visual source of truth for AI.
