Image formats
Many AI tools can't read HEIC (iPhone default). Exporting JPG also bakes in correct orientation.
Mac
Open in Preview, rotate if needed, then File → Export as JPG.
Windows
Use Photos or similar — rotate, then export as JPG.
Before you attach
Do this before dropping the image into Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
